Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that it has been named a winner of the 2021 Large Company Turnaround/Transaction of the Year Award by the Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”) for our representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Tuesday Morning Corp. bankruptcy. The Turnaround/Transaction Awards are chosen based on a rigorous peer-review process.
Tuesday Morning Corp. is a NASDAQ-listed retail chain of approximately 500 stores in 40 states.
The TMA Award, which recognized Edward L. Schnitzer, marks the third award that Montgomery McCracken’s Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Department has received for its representation in the Tuesday Morning Corp. Bankruptcy.
Schnitzer, along with Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring attorneys David M. Banker and Gilbert R. Saydah, as counsel for the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors, successfully secured confirmation of a plan of reorganization which paid all creditors 100% of what they are owed plus interest while preserving the on-going business as a trading partner for creditors and a myriad of jobs.
