Justin Stone is a partner in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department who focuses on complex litigation, including antitrust, patent, bankruptcy, securities, financial disputes, and appellate work in state and federal courts.
A former attorney with the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, Justin represents investors, companies, and government clients in high-stakes matters, from crypto-asset securities class actions to antitrust and ERISA litigation. He is also committed to pro bono advocacy, including on behalf of undocumented immigrants and victims of police brutality.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Justin served as counsel at a boutique law firm concentrating on business transactions, commercial litigation, and crypto-related legal services. Before entering private practice, he was an attorney for the Bureau of Competition of the Federal Trade Commission.
Justin is deeply committed to pro bono advocacy. His notable pro bono achievements include successful litigation on behalf of undocumented immigrants and victims of police brutality, showcasing his dedication to justice and community service.
Justin graduated from Cornell University and earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He further enhanced his legal expertise with an LL.M. in Law and Economics from George Mason University School of Law.
