Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP partner Jeanne L. Bakker was a speaker at the American Conference Institute’s Compensation & Benefits Boot Camp for Labor & Employment Practitioners, a conference held at the Union League of Philadelphia.  Bakker presented a segment on QDROs (qualified domestic relation orders), including QDRO drafting, QDRO litigation prevention, ERISA preemption, and what to look for and how to deal with incorrect orders. The two day seminar was designed for labor and employment attorneys and HR professionals.

Bakker is a partner in the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. She applies her ERISA experience as ERISA counselor and ERISA litigator.  She advises national and international employers on qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements, and executive incentive plans and represents insured and self-insured employers and providers in ERISA fiduciary duty matters; benefit claims for qualified and non-qualified retirement benefits and welfare benefits; and, benefit discrimination disputes.
