Four Montgomery McCracken Attorneys Elected to the Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association

PHILADELPHIA – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce four attorneys have assumed leadership positions on the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Robert H. Bender, Jr. was elected to the YLD Executive Committee to serve a three-year term and Michael C. Witsch was appointed by the YLD Executive Committee to serve a one-year term. In addition, Benjamin E. Fuller was appointed as the Intellectual Property Law Section liaison and Ernest D. Holtzheimer was appointed as the Business Law Section liaison to the YLD Executive Committee. They will both serve one-year terms.

The mission of the YLD is to promote the interests of young lawyers. The organization, which has more than 2,900 members, provides a form for the exchange of views among young lawyers and encourages the professional development of young lawyers through educational and service programs. Throughout the year, members of the YLD are involved in numerous committees to develop programs that help children, the elderly, the disadvantaged, and many more.

Robert H. Bender, Jr. is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Bert received a J.D. degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and earned a B.S. degree in History from the United States Naval Academy.

Michael C. Witsch is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and also serves as an editor of the firm’s White Collar Alert blog, which focuses on government investigations and white collar crime. Mike received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and earned an A.B., cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross.

Benjamin E. Fuller is an associate in the firm’s Business Department and concentrates his practice on corporate transactions and operations, and intellectual property matters. Ben serves as an editor of Montgomery McCracken’s Private Business Counsel blog. He received a J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School and earned a B.S. in Computer Science from George Washington University.

Ernest D. Holtzheimer is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he combines an active litigation practice with a transactional and business advisory practice, to assist clients on a wide variety of matters. Ernie serves as editor of Montgomery McCracken’s Private Business Counsel blog and is also a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, with a Business and Entrepreneurship Concentration. Ernie earned an M.B.A. degree in Finance and B.S. degrees, cum laude, in Entrepreneurship and Business Management with a focus on International Studies, from Rowan University William G. Rohrer College of Business.
