Montgomery McCracken is pleased to welcome Stephanie K. Benecchi as an associate in the Litigation Department in the Philadelphia office.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Stephanie was an associate with a commercial litigation firm in New York, where she handled high-stakes civil litigation, corporate investigations, and insurance coverage, in federal and state courts. Stephanie has represented hedge funds, investment companies, corporations and financial institutions in various litigation matters. She also represented pro bono clients in negotiations with their insurance companies after Superstorm Sandy.
Stephanie received a J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law in May 2010, where she was a staff member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University in May 2005. She was a member of the Varsity Women’s Swim Team, served in student government, and served as chair of the Class of 2005 Senior Gift Fundraising Committee. She remains involved with Columbia, serving as a class agent and on the Alumni Representative Committee, as well as on reunion and fundraising committees.
