Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP announced the appointment of Louis R. Moffa, Jr., a litigation partner, to the position of deputy general counsel to the firm.
Moffa is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department in its Cherry Hill office. Moffa’s litigation practice includes commercial and construction contracts, civil rights and constitutional torts, business torts, shareholder disputes, employment discrimination and wrongful termination, immigration and products liability. He also has extensive experience in the area of state and local public bidding and contracting. He will continue with his diverse litigation practice and will split his time between the firm’s Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices.
John E. Caruso, a litigation partner and 35-year veteran with the firm, has served as Montgomery McCracken’s general counsel since 1988. Moffa will assist Caruso in advising the firm and representing its interests.
