Department
Litigation
Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department offers a deep bench of skilled and experienced litigators whose practice areas encompass a broad array of industries and substantive legal disciplines.
Our clients include individuals, significant estates, founders and investors, private and publicly-traded business enterprises and their boards, managers and officers, among many others. They rely on us to assist them in resolving both routine and extraordinary legal disputes in a practical and efficient manner. To meet their high expectations, we deploy our litigation resources in a coordinated and collaborative manner to ensure that all angles are covered, and that resolutions place our clients in the most advantageous position possible.
We have litigated in courts throughout the United States and abroad, and before mediators, arbitrators, and agency tribunals throughout the country. We advocate at the trial and appellate court levels — from, by way of example, the Delaware Court of Chancery to the Supreme Court of the United States.
We understand the role and limitations of litigation in the broader context of business. Montgomery McCracken litigators, often in close collaboration with their business and transactional colleagues, bring insight in helping clients mitigate litigation risk prospectively at the deal table, in the boardroom, and elsewhere through risk assessment, process enhancements, and preventive counseling.
